Gorilla Tour Uganda, 3 Days
This Gorilla trekking expedition will lead you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to half the total number of all Mountain Gorillas existing on the planet (320) and yet still solely the Park in which Chimps and mountain gorillas live together . On the way to Bwindi have a stopover at the crossing of the equator. The journey is quite long but very rewarding.
Day 01: head to Bwindi Impenetrable National
Our guide will meet you after breakfast, and then head to south-Western Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Make a stopover for an informative talk as well as photographic possibility at the Uganda Equator there after carry on and Mbarara for your Lunch. Traverse the “Switzerland” of Uganda characterized by rising and falling verdant hills, with sights of the stunning Virunga volcanoes in Rwanda as well as the Congo. This road will bring us to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, dwelling of the impressive mountain gorillas. Spend the night with sounds of the magnificent mountain-rainforest. Day 02: Gorilla Trekking Day
Following an early hefty breakfast to offer you the vitality required for tracking the gorillas, a good level of fitness is needed for this Experience. You will set out with a packed lunch, and report to the ranger-station for registration as well as a talk by the rangers just before 8:00 in the morning. You will make your way through dense creepers plus undergrowth along with the guides to locate the Gorillas, this trek may take from 30 minutes to 9 hours. Actually the steep forested terrain is quite dense although crisscrossed by a number of animal trails enabling better access for tourists. It’s awesome to sit, observe as well as photograph the mountain gorillas within the forest, hearing them grumble to one another. Day 03: Departure
Following an early breakfast, head a back to the capital Kampala through Kabale – Mbarara – Masaka halting at the equator-crossing for photographs and a few simple experiments. have lunch on the way prior to continuing to Kampala and later to the Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home or have a City Tour in Kampala or tour Uganda Wildlife Education Center found in Entebbe.
