9 Day Gorilla and Wildlife Safari
This safari offers a special package inclusive of visiting three main National parks in Uganda; that is Bwindi Impenetrable Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge and a tour on Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale and also enjoys the beautiful weather of Uganda- the Pearl of Africa.
Day 1: Airport Arrival

Day 1- Airport Arrival
You will be received by our delegate on arrival at Entebbe International Airport who will take you to Kampala. If there will reasonable time after the airport pickup, you could have a tour through the city to places like the Uganda Museum, the Crafts market, Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo and the National Theatre among others. Later you will check in to your hotel depending on the budget.
Day 2- The marvelous Murchison falls on the Nile
Today after breakfast, you will depart from Kampala to northwestern Uganda. A stop over at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and pay a visit to these beautiful creatures, of course you will have lunch in Masindi town before continuing to the largest National Park in Uganda- the Murchison falls National Park.
As you enter the park, the first amazing sight that you will take up in this National Park is the visit to the top of the falls. These magnificent falls which are about 43 meters high you will marvel at the falling waters of the river Nile flowing and 8 slapping against the rocks in a deafening roar, and see the spectacular rainbows that are formed from the scattering moisture.
Day 3- The boat cruise on the river Nile and a Game Drive
A drive through north of the Park on this experience, you will have spectacle at toothsome hippos, crocodiles. This is also the habitat for many bird species. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below.
The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows. After lunch, enjoy an evening Game Drive and over the 17-kilometer stretch You will have an opportunity of seeing and taking snap shots of the various wild animals such as the Uganda Kobs, elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes crocodiles, rhinos and hippos just to mentions but a few.
Day 4- Fort Portal on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon
From Murchison Falls National Park, you will head southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, all the way through Hoima town, up to the peaceful capital of the Toro kingdom Fort Portal. This drive is quite an exhausting one because it takes the whole day. However, you will get to your destination in time for diner and relax
Day 5- Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Pearl of Uganda
Following an early morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enjoy one of those magnificent game drives that are carried out in the Park. Lunch will be at the lodge and then will embark on a two hours boat ride on Kazinga channel looking at the beautiful birds and the dallying buffalos and hippos and later in the late evening, enjoy an evening drive to the crater lakes region
Day 6- Chimp Tracking at Kyambura Gorge
Have a warm cup of coffee or tea, just to heat you up and help keep worm as you embark on a game drive in the park along the Queen’s mile and Kasenyi track spotting lions, buffalos, warthogs, elephants and so many birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a later lunch. With that wonderful lunch, you will head to Kyambura gorge which is 100 meter deep and 16 km long on the rift valley; for a forest trek in search for the always on the move Chimpanzees and other primates. Retire for the day
Day 7- Brief Game drive While transferring to Bwindi
On having breakfast, you will depart for the Ishasha zone in the park for a game drive to catch sight of the tree climbing lions. This will be brief game drive because you will just be passing through to your next destination. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and after head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Day 8- Gorilla Trekking as Scheduled today
An early breakfast followed by a briefing by the guide, you will then head into Bwindi forest for a Mountain Gorilla tracking. Every well equipped you will have a stunning experience as you meander through the thick forest. The track usually takes up to 8 hour so you will have gone with your lunch and have a break to eat then continue with your tracking.
Day 9- Transfer to Kampala/ Airport
Drive back to Kampala, you could make optional stopovers in Mbarara to see the long horned Ankole cattle, traditional drum makers, banana plantations, and the road side roasted food stuff sold my the natives. Arrive at the airport for your flight.
